Rainbow Helping Hand!
The company sets aside a percentage of its net profits each year as a charity fund. The Rainbow Straw Fund focuses on supporting education and targeted poverty alleviation. At the annual meeting, Chairman Wu Zhengju, on behalf of the company, donated 2 million yuan to the Rainbow Straw Charity Fund. Mr. He Hongjun, President of the Rainbow Straw Foundation, accepted the donation on behalf of the foundation.
Good deeds create harmony, and love inherits virtues. The Rainbow Straw Fund may be just a drop in the bucket for a school or the entire society, but it is a reflection of our chairman’s altruistic thinking and the original intention of establishing our company. While we convey love to poor students through the Straw Fund, we also fill the hearts of every employee with love, and use our practical actions to build a loving and responsible company.
In addition to the Rainbow Straw Fund, the 2017 "Top Ten Electrician Model Workers" award ceremony of Rainbow Cable Group was another heartfelt part of the annual meeting. The recognition of electrician model workers is also a great affirmation of the thousands of workers who have worked hard in the power construction industry. Without them, we would not have our bright lives.
Model electricians came on stage and were awarded certificates, bonuses and souvenirs by Mr. Zhang Jun, chief engineer of Guizhou Tianhong Cable Group and May 1st Model Worker of Guizhou Province.
